The Attorney General of the State of Mexico investigates the murder of the agent of the Public Ministry, Jovanna Areli Hernandez, happened this Tuesday night in the Metropolitan neighborhood of Nezahualcóyotl.
According to the first reports, the woman was traveling in her car at the height of López Mateos y Flamingos avenue in that municipality, when two armed men on a motorcycle approached the vehicle and shot at it.

The Mexican prosecutor Jose Luis Cervantes Martinez led the operation to locate the alleged perpetrators. Elements of the municipal police and the Prosecutor’s Office secured the perimeter, carried out the removal of the body and carried out the first investigative steps.

“Attorney General José Luis Cervantes Martínez and those who work in the State of Mexico Prosecutor’s Office condemn this cowardly homicide, in addition to committing that there will be no impunity and that whoever is responsible will be brought to justice,” he said.
