'Hocus Pocus 2' Release Date, Cast and Everything We Know So Far

The Sanderson sisters’ creepy cottage has been recreated as an Airbnb in celebration of Disney’s “Hocus Pocus 2,” their sequel film to the original 1993 “Hocus Pocus.”

“To mark their highly anticipated return in Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2, the infamous sisters are inviting guests to enter a land of enchantment with a once-in-a-lifetime stay at their creaky old cottage,” Airbnb wrote on its website.

True to witchy form, the humble and homey hovel is located in the woods of Salem, Massachusetts.

“We all know that the Sanderson Sisters’ story might not have ended when we turned to dust, nor did our shenanigans,” said Kathy Najimy, who plays Mary Sanderson in both films. “What better way to celebrate the season than to host guests at the trio’s historic haunt for a night they’ll remember for years to come?”

Airbnb further described the eerie experience as one complete with details from the “Hocus Pocus” world.

“Wooden boards that groan under the weight of curious cats and cupboards filled with blood of owl and herb that’s red (and even a hair from Winifred’s head) await those who dare to explore the cottage’s dark corners,” the site advertisement said.

Prior to their stay, visitors can explore Salem in all its gross glory, watch the spooky sequel, out Sept. 30 and even try their hand at enchantments around the cauldron. A replica of the sisters’ infamous book is available for attempts at spellcasting, but Najimy warned visitors against messing with the old tome.

“Don’t open that book — there’s a witchcraft book, but I wouldn’t open that if I were them,” she told CNN of the immersive experience.

Fans of the original film and those awaiting the sequel 30 years in the making will be sure to enjoy their stay at the witchy dwelling.

“It’s going to be unique and frightening – a lot like me,” Najimy continued. “The actual whole cottage will have all the Sanderson’s touches. But they’ll have the things that people need to have a good time, sheets and towels and beds and broomsticks and dead man’s toes and frightening things like that, too. Really wild, vivid recreation.”

The Sanderson’s wood-nestled cottage will become available as an Airbnb listing on Oct. 12 at 1 pm ET. The exclusive stay will occur Oct. 20 for two guests at $31 a night – plus taxes and fees – in celebration of All Hallow’s Eve.

The stay is not a contest, as the cottage is privately owned and operated.
