The Board of Directors of Infonavit approved this Wednesday the maximum age to request and process a credit for the purchase of a home, announced Luisa María Alcalde, head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS).
On social networks, Mayor Luján shared a video with the general director of Infonavit, Carlos Martínez, and the latter explained that previously a loan could be processed at the age of 65, and now it can be done at 70 years of age.
During an ordinary session chaired by Luisa María Alcalde, other benefits for workers were also approved, such as the enlargement of the terms to pay construction loans and housing improvement to 42 months“which makes the monthly payments smaller,” said Carlos Martínez.
Also the procedures to acquire a land they relaxed as agreed this Wednesday during the session of the Infonavit.

The three initiatives were approved unanimously by the Board of Directors of the Institute of the National Fund for Housing for Workers (Infonavit).
At the end of last month, Infonavit reported that from 2019 to the August 2022 cutoff, more than 480 thousand young people under 30 years of age have benefited from a loan for the acquisition of housing or land according to your tastes and needs.
“In this administration, contrary to what happened with the generation of our parents, financing can be accessed with an interest rate below inflation thanks to the reform of the Infonavit Law that seeks the financial inclusion of all the workers of Mexico,” he said at the time Carlos Martínez, according to a statement.
