The death certificate of Queen Elizabeth II was published this Thursday by the National Register of Scotland. The document clarifies that the monarch passed away “due to old age” at 3:10 p.m. on September 8.

Buckingham Palace had issued a statement shortly after 12:30 p.m. that day to say that doctors were concerned about the queen’s health and that she would remain under medical supervision. Her death was officially announced at 6:30 p.m.3 hours after the time that confirms the minutes.
