At least 19 people were killed and 27 others were injured. as a result of a suicide attack at an educational center in the Afghan city of Kabul, police sources reported.

The incident took place in Throne at 7:30 in the morning in the area of ​​Zona de Dasht e Barchi, in the west of the Afghan capital, as reported by the Afghan Ministry of the Interior and collected by the chain Tolo News.

“An educational center called ‘Kaj’ in district 13 of Kabul city, which I was taking the entrance exam this Friday, has been attacked. Unfortunately, preliminary information shows that 19 people lost their lives and 27 others were injured,” Kabul Police spokesman Khalid Zadran said in a statement. Twitter.

According to journalistic versions, about 400 students were present at the venue at the time of the explosion.

Abdullah Abdullah, head of the Supreme Council for National Reconciliation in the previous government, condemned the explosion, adding that it was a “cruel slaughter of the enemies of peace and the progress of the country”, reports Tolo News.

The author of the attack has not yet been claimed. The number of dead and injured could increase in the coming hours.
