"Zero impunity in femicides," says Sheinbaum in the cases of Ariadna Fernanda and Lidia Gabriela

According to testimonies from people close to Ariadna, her last cell phone connection was at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday. The young woman had gone, along with two friends, to a restaurant located on Campeche street and they stayed there for several hours.

Once the young woman did not arrive home, her relatives reported her disappearance on social networks. It was not until Monday that the discovery of her body was reported.

So far, the Specialized Prosecutor for the Investigation and Prosecution of the Crime of Femicide keeps in reserve the removal of the corpseas well as the progress of the investigation.

According to the CDMX Attorney General’s Office, the Public Ministry of the Territorial Investigation Prosecutor’s Office in Iztapalapa will act according to the femicide protocol.
