"Zero impunity in femicides," says Sheinbaum in the cases of Ariadna Fernanda and Lidia Gabriela

The Head of Government of Mexico City, claudia sheinbaumreported that the Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) is already working to clarify the cases of Ariadna Fernanda and Lidia Gabrielatwo young men whose deaths are being investigated as alleged femicides.

“Zero impunity in femicides”Sheinbaum wrote in a message on Twitter on Friday.

The first days of November were marked by the death of Ariadna Fernanda Lopez and Lidia Gabrielaboth victims of possible femicides and by those who in social networks They demand justice.

The first case that went viral was that of Ariadna Fernanda López, a 27-year-old girl whose body was found far from the booth of Tepoztlán in Morelos on October 31a day after the young woman boarded a taxi in the Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City.

According to testimonies from people close to Ariadna, her last cell phone connection was at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday. The young woman had gone, along with two friends, to a restaurant located on Campeche street and they stayed there for several hours.

Once the young woman did not arrive home, her relatives reported her disappearance on social networks. It was not until Monday that the discovery of her body was reported.

So far, the Specialized Prosecutor for the Investigation and Prosecution of the Crime of Femicide keeps in reserve the removal of the corpseas well as the progress of the investigation.

The story of lydia gabriela was released this week after his body was found on November 1 on Iztapalapa Hermitage Road, in the Constitución neighborhood of 1917.

According to her brother’s version, the young woman jumped out of a taxi after the driver did not stop when she asked and instead, changed route and continued on. Lidia Gabriela boarded the transport around 5:00 p.m. and 10 minutes later the events occurred.

“When my sister threw herself, the driver did not stop and went on, we are looking for him and collecting all the evidence we may have of him. So far we know that they were driving a white Nissan Versa with pink and black wheels”.

Through a message on social networks, the victim’s brother demanded: “May Lidia Gabriela’s death not go unpunished!

According to the CDMX Attorney General’s Office, the Public Ministry of the Territorial Investigation Prosecutor’s Office in Iztapalapa will act according to the femicide protocol.
