The surprises don’t stop…

Iran defeated at the last moment, 2-0, the selection of Welsh in the corresponding party B Groupto start the Friday session of the World Cup Qatar 2022.

Both goals came on aggregatethe first courtesy of Rouzbeh Cheshmiin the minute 90’+8′and the second leg of ramin rezaiha in the minute 90’+11′to give the set of Iran their first victory of the tournament on the second day of the group.

Iranin a vibrant match where they showed that they are not an easy rival despite the 6-2 loss against Englandsurprised the Welsh team, led by the veteran Gareth Balewhich ended with one less due to the expulsionin the minute 86′of their goalie Wayne Hennessey.

In his first match, Welsh had tied 1-1 with the United Statesfor which reason it was positioned as a contender to classify second in the group, while Iran seemed to aim for a three and out after the beaten by the English.

The second game of B Group will be held at 13:00 hourscentral Mexico time, and will face England and the United States in a match of vital importance for the next phase.
