These are not times to discuss electoral reform: Álvarez Máynez

The coordinator of Movimiento Ciudadano in the Chamber of Deputies, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, considered that the electoral reform initiative of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is detrimental to democracy. He said that the proposal does not make sense and does not coincide with the times, since the electoral reforms are introduced in the midterm elections to be able to assess them. In an interview with Aristegiio en Vivo, the deputy considered that the issue of electoral reform is overdue, and invited Morena to address other issues, such as decent vacations.
