HBO Max presents cast of 'The Last of Us' with new posters

The premiere on HBO Max of The Last of Us is already coming, one of the most anticipated series of next year, based on the legendary PlayStation video game.

From the Emmy Award-winning creator of Chernobyl and the creator of the acclaimed video game of the same name, the HBO original series will premiere on January 15, 2023, both on the pay channel and on the streaming platform. HBO Max.

The series will tell what happens twenty years after modern civilization was destroyed. joel (Pedro Pascal), a seasoned survivor, is hired to smuggle out Ellie (Bella Ramsey) -a 14-year-old girl- from an oppressive area of quarantine.

What starts out as a small job soon turns into a brutal and harrowing journey as both must traverse the United States depending on each other for survival.

The cast includes Peter Pascal like joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Anna Torv as Tess, Nico Parker as Sarah, Murray Bartlett as Frank, Nick Offerman as Bill, Melanie Lynskey as Kathleen.

Storm Reid will play Riley, Merle Dandridge as Marlene, Jeffrey Pierce as Perry, Lamar Johnson as Henry, Keivonn Woodard as Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon, and Elaine Miles as Florence. Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker also star.

The Last of Us is co-created and written by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. The series is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television and is executive produced by Carolyn Strauss, Evan Wells, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan and Rose Lam. PlayStation Productions, Word Games, The Mighty Mint, and Naughty Dog also produce.
