PAN members denounce alleged illegalities in the AMLO march

National Action legislators filed a complaint with the National Electoral Institute for what they consider “various illegalities deployed on the occasion of the march held on November 27, 2022.”

The appeal points to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador as probable perpetrators; Adán Augusto López, Secretary of the Interior; Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of Foreign Relations and Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Head of Government.

Senator Kenia López Rabadán announced the process in her conference “La Contramañanera”.

The PAN member said that “public resources were used to promote the march, to transport people, to pay for food and to attend the event.”

He affirmed that there was coercion with the loss of employment, position or some social program, in case of not attending the mobilization.

According to López Rabadán, the organizers “promised enrollment in a social program in case of attending and illegally displayed personalized advertising.”

They had the nerve to use the register of beneficiaries of social programs to pass assistance to the people who attended.

Kenia López said that López Obrador and Morena are “desperately trying to position their government and their candidates for the Presidency of the Republic.”

The legislators request in their writing respective precautionary measures so that those responsible refrain from re-incurring in acts similar to those denounced.

Given the systematic recidivism (…) it is requested that precautionary measures be issued in the form of preventive protection, so that they refrain from carrying out acts similar to those denounced here.

The complainants presented “evidence, with photos and videos that different citizens sent through social networks, which confirm that there was illegal conduct in the realization of said event.”
