Axl Rose injured a fan by throwing a microphone during a concert

The vocalist of Guns N’ RosesAxl Rose, has vowed to end his mic-throwing tradition.

Last week, the fan Rebecca Howe He affirmed through social networks that he was left with two black eyes and badly bruised nose after taking the impact of the microphone that the musician threw into the crowd at the end of a concert in Adelaide, Australia on November 29.

In light of Howe’s injuries, Axl Rose took to Twitter over the weekend to announce that he will no longer throw microphones at concerts.

“It came to my attention that a fan may have been injured at a show in Adelaide, Australia, possibly hit by the microphone at the end of the show when I traditionally throw the mic at the fans,” he wrote.

“If it’s true, obviously, we don’t want anyone to get hurt or in any way hurt anyone at any of our shows anywhere. Having thrown the mic at the end of a show for over 30 yearswe always felt that it was a known part of the very end of the performance that the fans wanted and knew they had a chance to take the mic (sic).”

Rose did not say if she plans to contact Howe.

However, the star insisted that he never meant to cause harm to concertgoers.

Regardless of the interest of the security public, from now on we will refrain from throwing the microphone or anything at fans during or at performances,” added the artist.

“Unfortunately, there are those who for their own reasons have chosen to frame their reporting on this issue in a more negative and irresponsible light. Nothing could be further from the truth. We hope that the public and of course the fans understand that. Thank you all very much for understanding, ”he expressed.
