The Canadian mining company GR Silver Mining announced the discovery of silver in the Southeast area of San Marcial, an area owned by the company and the Plomosas Project, in Sinaloa.
Through a statement, the company reported that there are six drilling with the potential to expand the limits of silver mineralization in the region.
The updated resource estimate is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2023.
A total of 75 GR Silver Mining drill holes (10,500 m) will be added to the 52 holes used in the 2019 NI 43-101 San Marcial mineral resource estimate.
The president and CEO of GR Silver Mining, Eric Zaunscherb, said that the discovery of this surface will contribute to increasing the estimate of resources scheduled for this quarter of the year, according to its San Marcial database.
“These most recent drill results contribute to our understanding of the mineralization in the SE, as well as the original San Marcial Resource Area. San Marcial continues to deliver high-grade precious metals from metallic intervals within broad, well-mineralized masses. The discovery of high-grade Ag and Au mineralization outside and to the SE of the known structural corridor in the SE Area it is very encouraging“.
It also indicated that the delivery of the updated mineral resource, they will design their strategic plan for 2023 and expect that the extension of exploration along this emerging, and highly prospective SE trend, will figure prominently in the exploitation of the area.
