Sandra Espinoza Ramírez, a traffic officer from Calera, Zacatecas, was assassinated in front of the Pedro Vélez elementary school, while she was attending to the movement of vehicles and students.
It is known that outside the school armed people approached the officer and shot, so mothers and fathers, along with students, ran to take refuge to avoid the bullets.
The authorities carried out an operation to try to find those responsible, without any information of any arrest so far.
The Zacatecas Road Safety Police Directorate, through its social networks, regretted the incident of the officer, and expressed solidarity with her relatives.
Elements of the public ministry arrived at the scene to lift the body and collect the first evidence.
