Almost a year after the commissioning of the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), it is expected that the economic impact and different activities around it will contribute to the construction and recovery of abandoned houses in different municipalities of the state of Mexico.
In the near future, the reconstruction and urbanization of at least 10,000 homes will begin in the municipalities of Huehuetoca, Zumpango and Tecámac, said the Infonavit delegate in the State of Mexico, Dayra Nallely Vergara Vargas.

The Federal official announced that with the installation of care modules in Jilotepec, Nezahualcóyotl and within the AIFA in Zumpango, in addition to promoting the services of its institute, recovered homes can be placed.
Until March 2022, the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (SEDATU) had records that there were just over 117,000 abandoned homes in the peripheral area of the airport, mainly in Zumpango, Huehuetoca, Nextlalpan and Tecámac.
