'The Boys'

The Vought Supers continue working on the fourth season of ‘The Boys’, the Amazon Prime Video series that adapts the comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Even though we don’t even have a release date for the new episodesEric Kripke is an expert in creating anticipation.

The showrunner of the series has published on his Twitter account the cover of the last script of the season. Episode 8 of Season 4 is written by David Reed and Jessica Chou, who was charged with writing the ‘Herogasm’ from the previous season.. Kripke himself runs the chapter.

He also reveals the title of this season finale: ‘Assassination Run’, which could be translated as “murder race”. At this point it can not surprise us that ‘The Boys’ is going to end the season with a massacre, but who will be the victims? And who is going to stain their hands with blood? We already knew that the first episode, written by David Reed, will be titled ‘Department of Dirty Tricks’.

The third season ended with Patriot (Antony Starr) getting a mass bath despite having murdered a man in front of a bunch of civilians.. On the other hand, Butcher (Karl Urban) has to face the terrible news that because of Compound V he has little time to live. And Hughie (Jack Quaid) and the others have welcomed their newest full-time member, Starlight (Erin Moriarty), with open arms.

Double serving of superheroes

The fourth season does not yet have a release date, but will be preceded by ‘Gen V’, a new spin-off focused on the same universe as the series. We can enjoy both titles on Amazon Prime Video.
