The incredible story of the day that Ashton Kutcher did not recognize Harry Styles in a karaoke

Wondering what Ashton Kutcher has been up to lately? Well, wonder no more. In the new episode of esquire “Explain This” – which premiered on the occasion of the first digital cover of Esquire US, in which Kutcher appears – the actor told us his favorite story that happened in karaoke, which has a cameo by none other than Harry Styles. But Kutcher, at first, didn’t know.

“There was this extraordinarily well-known singer, maybe the best singer out there, who we’re neighbors with and she was having a karaoke party,” Kutcher says in the video. At one point he put on an amazing performance, and I thought, this is so unfair.” Ashton never tells us the singer’s name, so take your best guess before we get to the end. And then another guy got up and sang an ABBA song… I was like, “Oh my God. This is crazy.” The boy got off the stage, and Mila [Kunis] and I approached him. I said, ‘Man, I have to tell you something, you sing great. You’re a great karaoke singer. You’re very good.’ And he said, ‘Thank you, man, thank you. I really appreciate it.’ So we went back to our friend. and I said, “God, that guy was really good, huh?” And he said, ‘It’s Harry Styles.’ I wondered… “Who is that? And Mila said, ‘He’s the guy from the boy band, professional singer.’ My God, I felt like an idiot. He was a professional singer. And I was trying to tell him that he was a good singer. I felt so stupid. So I just want to I mean, sorry Harry Styles, but you’re really good at karaoke, man. Seriously, really good.
