The Attorney General of the State of Mexico confirmed the capture of Humberto “N”, alias “La Víbora”, identified as the alleged leader of the criminal organization calling itself “Nueva Alianza”.
Prosecutor’s investigations link this criminal group with crimes of homicide, kidnapping, extortion, sale of narcotics and robbery of cargo transportation, mainly in Nicolás Romero, Atizapán de Zaragoza, Tepotzotlán and Cuautitlán Izcalli.
The FGJEM highlighted that the criminal group that the detainee presumably heads is a merger between a cell with origins in the State of Jalisco and another with a presence in a region of Mexico City.
According to the statement from the Mexican prosecutor’s office, the man was one of the main targets for arrest of this criminal group.
According to intelligence work, he could be pointed out for his probable participation in the crime of extortion to the detriment of merchants.
In addition, his possible responsibility for the homicide of two people is being investigated, whose bodies were located in the streets of the El Rosario neighborhood, in the municipality of Cuautitlán Izcalli.
Humberto “N” was admitted by agents of the Investigative Police (PDI) to the Tlalnepantla Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center, and it will be a judge who will determine his legal situation.
The prosecutor’s office mentioned that due to the dangerousness of the criminal gang indicated, the investigations have led to the capture of different members.
Last December, Carlos Enrique “N”, alias “Bam Bam”, presumed leader of “La Nueva Alianza”, was captured, days later Nicanor “N” and/or Javier “N”, alias “Zarigüeya”, second in command of this criminal group, both were admitted to the Tlalnepantla Prison, where they face legal proceedings, after the arrest of these subjects. Humberto “N” became one of the most dangerous of the criminal group.
