The Attorney General of the State of Mexico reported that Jesús Antonio “N”, 19 years old, was linked to the process, for alleged attempted femicide.
The subject hit his 85-year-old grandmother in Ecatepec in a video that went viral on social networks.
Through a statement, the institution reported that the young man will remain in pretrial detention for the next 2 months, while the complementary investigations are concluded.
On January 30, Jesús Antonio “N” hit his grandmother with an object, who had to be taken to a hospital.
The young man is in the Ecatepec Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center, where he will continue the process.
