A young woman identified as Yessica, 21, was burned with gasoline by her brother, for which she was transferred by helicopter from Ecatepec to Mexico City to receive medical attention for first and second degree burns.
Civil Protection personnel and firefighters from Ecatepec offered pre-hospital help to the young woman, but she was taken in the Jaguar helicopter to the 20 de Noviembre hospital in Mexico City.
The event occurred at a home located in Colonia Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, where the young man identified as 27-year-old Jonathan “N” attacked the young woman with fuel.
The attacker is the victim’s brother.
It is presumed that the young man was under the influence of chemical substances.
The victim records burns on 60 percent of his body.
Jonathan “N” was arrested and presented before the corresponding authorities to investigate him for the attempted femicide.
