Earthquake in Turkey: Turkish Embassy opens to donations


The Embassy of Turkey in Mexico opened a Collection Center to help the population of the Eurasian country due to the earthquake last Monday, which has so far left a balance of more than seven thousand people dead.

Turkish diplomacy has requested donations from winter clothes for children and adults, tents, beds, mattresses for shelters, sleeping bags, gas tanks, thermoses, lanterns, electric generators and catalytic stoves, among others.

In addition, canned or non-perishable food, baby food, hygiene and cleaning products, and sanitary napkins for women are requested.

The collection center will be located at Monte Líbano 885, Lomas de Chapultepec neighborhood, Mayor Miguel Hidalgo.
