A teacher from an elementary school located in the municipality of Cintalapa, Chiapasreassured his students during a shooting that took place in the vicinity of the Emiliano Zapata school in the Roberto Albores Guillén neighborhood.
A video circulating on social media shows the students of the elementary school lying on the floor of the classroom, while the teacher tries to calm them down by saying:
“Everyone, everyone on the ground. Don’t worry, I already told your parents to come get you. Calm down, quiet down.”
No student of the primary school was injured during the confrontation, local media reported.
According to initial reports, the shooting it was unleashed during a pursuit by National Guard elements of a group of suspected criminals, in which six people were arrested.
Scenes like this have been repeatedly recorded in videos broadcast on social networks.
