The carrierssummoned to start the protests and blockades from 8:30 in the morning, seek to demonstrate against the “tax act of the semovi (Secretaría de Movilidad)” of the CDMX, since they claim that they were eliminated from road corridors of transport in Culhuacán and Las Águilas to deliver services to private companies.
The mobilization is expected to leave from Avenida 20 de Noviembre and Izazaga, and in Circuito Plaza de la Constitución, in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office, in the Centro neighborhood. However, they could move to other avenues.
According to the capital authorities, the demonstrators are concession carriers of Routes 12, 57, 84 and 91 of the city.
On the other hand, another demonstration is forecast by the General Assembly of Workers (AGT) at 11 in the morning of this day. In this case, the Protestants demand the pension paymentrespect for their labor rights and the restitution of dismissed workers. The nonconformists will march from the Viaducto station of the STC Metro to the Provident Fund for Workers to the Raya List of the Government of the Federal District (Captralir), which is located on Castilla 186, Álamos, in the Benito Juárez mayor’s office.
Also, on the occasion of International Women’s Daythe 8M coordination will have a rally and a press conference at 10 a.m. in the General Prosecutor of the Republic, located at Avenida Insurgentes, no. 20, Col. Roma Norte, in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office.
