In accordance with Millenniumthe Ministry of National Defense assigned a contract to the company Rapiscan Systems for the renewal and strengthening of the review teams of the 21 customs offices in the country.
Rapiscan Systems is a company specialized in the development of machinery and technologies for the detection of illegal merchandise through X-rays.
According to a statement from Ken Salazar’s office, as mutual coordination deepens at the border, the greater the shared security.
He also stated that this decision reaffirms the shared willingness to work together as partners to protect the well-being and security of the population on both sides of the border, as well as to promote the legal transit of goods and people.
