The last time we saw Matt Murdock was at the end of ‘She-Hulk: Lawyer She-Hulk’ last October, the second time we saw Charlie Cox’s character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after his celebrated cameo in ‘Spider- Man: No Way Home’. Both appearances were two fun appetizers of what awaits us soon: the revival of ‘Daredevil’ in the form of a new series for Disney+, titled ‘Daredevil: Born Again’.
Marvel resumes the adventures of the Devil from Hell’s Kitchen after starring in three seasons on Netflix, giving it a continuation, already officially integrated into the UCM. Filming of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is taking place these days in New York and we already have here the first look at Cox again in the skin of the Man without fear.
A few days ago, a Twitter user shared an image with the popular British actor in Manhattan. The photo shows Cox, very smiling, holding onto his anorak so as not to reveal the outfit he hides underneath. In the same tweet you can see a photo of the municipal filming notice, where the working title of the series appears: ‘Out the Kitchen’a reference to Hell’s Kitchen, the New York neighborhood where Murdock lives.

old and new faces
For now, we don’t have many details about the plot of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, but its cast is taking shape with the announcement of new signings and expected returns. The series will feature in its cast Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Nikki M. James and Michael Gaston, who are joined by the returns of Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin and Jon Bernthal as Punisher. Those who would not return, at first, are Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), although it is unknown if their characters will not appear or be assigned to other actors.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has Matt Corman and Chris Ord as showrunners and main writers and It will have an extended season of 18 episodes.. The series does not have a set release date, but it is part of Phase 5 of the UCM and is expected for 2024.
