Zack Snyder shares images of Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck to advance, the theatrical re-release of the Snyderverse?

Zack Snyder continues to give clues about the mysterious event that will occur at the end of April and that would be related to his projects for DC. the popular filmmaker first shared a video of Lord Darkseid, villain of ‘Justice League’, along with a date: April 28-30, 2023. Theories began to fly, including the possibility of a SnyderCon or the -dreamed of by many, although more unlikely- Snyder’s return to DC to continue his SnyderVerso.

Since then, Snyder has released two more clues in the form of images that could more clearly indicate where the shots are going. In the first, published on the Vero social network, we can see Henry Cavill’s Superman in black and white, with text that reads: “Life is a cycle, from birth to death to rebirth. Therefore, the hero’s journey is also a cycle. A continuous journey of growth and transformation.”

Taking into account that Cavill hung up Superman’s cape and will not be the Man of Steel again in the new DC Universe directed by James Gunn and Peter Safran, a return of the British actor to the role is ruled out, so it is speculated that it could be some kind of revivalwhich seems to corroborate Snyder’s last post.

In the image, also published in Vero, Ben Affleck’s Batman appears with the dates indicated in the director’s previous posts, only this time, with the initials of the three films he directed for DC linked to each day: ‘The Man of Steel’ (April 28), ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ (April 29 ) and ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ (April 30). What is he trying to tell us?

From the new images shared by Snyder, The theory that has gained the most strength is the re-release in theaters of the SnyderVerso. If it were fulfilled, this would lead to the return to the rooms of ‘Man of Steel’ and ‘Batman v Superman’, but also -and this is the most important thing- the first time that his montage of ‘Justice League’ would be seen in theaters.

Under the initials ZSJL you can read IMAX, so the theory would make sense and it is possible that Snyder fans can finally enjoy the SnyderCut on the big screen. Of course, as we said, for now they are speculation, so we will be attentive to the director’s networks for more news.
