"Directly responsible" for the fire were presented to FGR, says Ebrard

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), Marcelo Ebrardreported that the “directly responsible” for the fire that caused the death of 38 people in the Ciudad Juárez immigration centerChihuahua, were presented to the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR).

Through his Twitter account, the official indicated that the National Institute of Migration (INM) and the Ministry of the Interior were asked to provide information on these events, to share them with diplomats from Central and South American countries.

“I have shared with you that as we have been informed by those agencies, those directly responsible for the events have been brought before the FGR.”

During the journey of this day, the SRE has maintained communication with representatives of countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Venezuela to notify them of progress on “this tragedy,” said Ebrard Casaubón.
