Argentinian Walter Gaitán arrested for family aggression


The guadalupe policeNuevo León, arrested this Thursday the former Argentine soccer player, Walter Gaitanfor the crime of family violence for allegedly physically and verbally assaulting his partner.

Walter, born in La Rioja, Argentina, is known in Mexico for having played for all three Liga MX teams: Tigres, Necaxa and Veracruz from 2002 to 2010. While in Spain he played for Villarreal, in the United States for Los Angeles Blues and in Argentina in Boca Juniors and Atlético Rafaela.

The Department of Public Security from the municipality of Guadalupe, which is part of the Monterrey metropolitan area, reported the news.

The Secretariat reported that on Wednesday night they received a report to the emergency telephone number to deal with a case of family violence at a home in the Colony Contry La Silla.

Police elements went to the aforementioned home and arrested the former Tigres soccer player.

It was reported that the man was made available to the Public ministry after being denounced by his partner for physical and verbal aggression.
