The galactic convention par excellence has finally revealed updates about one of the most mysterious ‘Star Wars’ series, ‘The Acolyte’. For starters, we already have an approximate release date. The series, set in the High Republic about a hundred years before ‘Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace’, will arrive on Disney + in 2024.
‘The Acolyte’ is still in production (started in November 2022), but They plan to finish shooting in May of this year.. As if there wasn’t enough anticipation, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has raised the hype in the room by claiming that the last four episodes of the series “His mind has been blown”. Leslye Headland, co-creator of the show, has stated that “it’s a mix of ‘Frozen: The kingdom of ice’ with ‘Kill Bill'”, which augurs action-packed lightsaber fighting. Of all the Jedi that will appear in the series, Lee Jung-jae (‘The Squid Game’) stands out as a Jedi master. He will have room for everyone, because even a Wookiee will wield a lightsaber and will be played by Joonas Suotamo.
