The acclaimed Resident Evil franchise released this Tuesday the trailer for the fifth installment of the movies and animated series that complement the universe of video games.
This new feature film takes place after what happened in the video game resident Evil 6 and the movie Resident Evil: Vendettabut before the events of the seventh installment of the multi-award-winning game saga.
The film will bring together for the first time the most iconic characters from Capcom’s zombie franchise. So, Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Rebecca Chambers, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine They will be together for a terrifying adventure on Alcatraz Island.
“Agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious woman frustrates his search. Eiichirō Hasumi will be the director in charge of this new animation, whose premiere is scheduled for the July 7 this year. In addition, It will be distributed worldwide by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, excluding Japan.
