AMLO seeks agreement with South Korea against fentanyl


He President Andrés Manuel López Obrador He affirmed that the Government of Mexico could reach an agreement with China to prevent fentanyl trafficking and affirmed that it will seek the same with South Korea.

“The Chinese government is already intervening,” he declared this Friday during his morning press conference at the National Palace.

“We are about to establish an agreement between the Chinese government and the Mexican government, especially with the Republic’s Prosecutor’s Office to prevent the entry of fentanyl from China to Mexico,” he added.

The president affirmed that said drug from South Korea has already been confiscated, for which reason he will also seek an agreement with that country.
