The Attorney General of the State of Mexico reported that it executed a second arrest warrant against Sergio “N”, the man who threw the Scooby puppy into a saucepan with oil in Tecámac, last Sunday.
This second process refers to the threats that he made with a knife and a firearm to the tenant of the butcher shop where he murdered the animal with boiling oil.
For this reason, he is accused of the probable crime of attempted homicide to the detriment of the tenant.
This arrest warrant was executed in the Chiconautla prison, because he was arrested yesterday for the crime of animal abuse.
“The events for which he is being investigated occurred on Sunday, May 28, when he entered the aforementioned business where he verbally assaulted the tenant, threatened him with a sharp instrument and a firearm, with which he would have tried to deprive him of life.”
The man identified as Sergio “N” was an active element of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection of Mexico City, but after his arrest in Coyoacán, and after the case was made known, he was discharged.
The State of Mexico prosecutor’s office assured that the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City (SSC CDMX), and other corporations and instances provided the necessary information for their location and capture.
It was revealed that the owner of the dog is an 11-year-old boy who went to the butcher shop that Sunday to buy meat, and returned home crying after the attack.
