Manolo Jiménez declares himself the winner in Coahuila


Accompanied by his wife and children, Manolo Jiménez, candidate for governor of Coahuila, declared at a press conference that won the elections this Sunday June 04.

Manolo Jimenez, PRI, PAN and PRD candidate, thanked his electoral teams. “We built a great invincible citizen front. This campaign became the meeting point for all Coahuilenses who want to do good things for our state, ”he declared.

He was pleased that election day passed peacefully and thanked all Coahuilenses for coming out to vote and assured that the polls give him victory with almost 50% of the votes.

Alejandro Moreno, national leader of the PRI, celebrated together with the candidate his presumed victory and wrote on social networks “With the confidence of the people of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez He will be the next governor of Coahuila.”

“We are going to govern for everyone. For what they voted for us and also for what they did not“, assured Manolo Jiménez. “We call for unity and teamwork.”

Until now, Armando Guadiana, Morena candidate has not declared anything regarding the preliminary results.

Lenin Perezcandidate of Green Party and Democratic Unity of Coahuila hasn’t commented either since the polls closed at 18:00.

Ricardo Mejia Berdeja, candidate of the Labor Party, has not made any statements either.
