A total of 142 direct and indirect victims of the fire at the ABC Nursery have received compensatory reparations and it is expected that the repair of the damage will be completed by the end of this year, said the Undersecretary for Human Rights, Population and Migration, Alejandro Encinas Rodríguez.
Encinas reiterated this Monday during the morning press conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador that for the tragedy that occurred in 2019 “there is no limitation or restriction in terms of resources to care for the victims.”
He added that 327 resolutions have been issued in favor of the primary and extended nuclei of 144 direct victims.
In turn, Zoé Robledo, director of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), recalled that two former officials of the Institute were arrested and linked to the process as a result of a complaint filed with the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) in 2020.
