María Elena Ríos, a survivor of femicide, through her Twitter account, demanded justice and regretted the femicide.

“Ms. Lucila was a 73-year-old woman, originally from Santiago Ihuitlán Plumas. Last Wednesday she was brutally murdered and burned, ”she pointed out.
