The leader of the Green Ecologist Party (PVEM) in Morelos, Faustino Javier Estrada Gonzálezwas attacked this Friday with firearm shots in front of the Tax Administration Service facilities (SAT) on the entity.
The politician was taken by a Red Cross ambulance to the José G Parres hospital in Cuernavaca, according to media reports.
The first versions indicate that Estrada González received three bullet wounds (one in the face, another in the hand, and one more in the thorax). According to authorities, his state of health is delicate.
According to the first reports, the politician was attacked by two subjects who were traveling on a motorcycle and who managed to escape.
For his part, the Morelos prosecutor Uriel Carmona Gándara confirmed that it was a direct attack against the leader of the Green Party in Morelos, Javier Estrada.
