A new trailer for JG Quintel’s adult animated series Close Enough reveals the premiere date for season 2. Additionally, the show has been renewed for season 3 on HBO Max.
the Close enough Season 2 trailer meets up with the characters of Josh, Emily, their daughter and their friends for fun in more chaotic and wacky cartoons. While it was previously announced that Season 2 would be coming to HBO Max sometime this month, the trailer confirms the February 25 release date. A spiritual successor to Quintel’s popular Cartoon Network series Regular show, Close enough launched its first season on HBO Max on July 9, 2020, and was picked up for season 2 the following month. The series was originally announced for TBS in 2017, though it was temporarily shelved after the network’s planned adult animation block fell through. The show follows Josh and Emily, a married couple in their 30s, who live with their young daughter Candice and their divorced friends Alex and Bridgette.
