Carpenter also publicly announced his support for League of Justice actor Ray Fisher, who was one of the first people to talk about Whedon.
Sarah Michelle Gellar made a short and concise statement about Joss Whedon on social media today. “While I am proud that my name is associated with Buffy Summers, I do not want to be associated forever with the name Joss Whedon,” the actress wrote on Instagram. “I am currently more focused on raising my family and surviving a pandemic, so I will not be making any further statements. Right now, but I am with all survivors of abuse and I am proud of them for speaking out.” Gellar didn’t provide any other information, but it can be assumed that he will talk about Whedon at some point, especially since more people have come forward.

Actress Amber Benson, who played Tara Maclay in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, also came out in support of Carpenter charisma. “Buffy was a toxic environment and it starts from the top.
