WandaVision has appeared in Nielsen’s issues for streaming shows for the first time, and its numbers indicate the show is a hit.
Nielsen numbers indicate that WandaVision was a widely viewed success in its first week of release.
According to Variety, Nielsen reports that WandaVision was viewed for 434 million minutes during the week of January 11-17, placing it as the sixth-most-watched broadcast show during that time period. This is a remarkable achievement, due to WandaVision being alone for three of the seven days in a row, as well as the series having only aired two episodes at that time.
WandaVision topped a number of high-profile shows in the top ten list for this week, including The crown (394 million minutes), Virgin river (340 million minutes) and other Disney + shows The mandalorian (339 million minutes).

This is not the only recent case of impressive audience data being released for WandaVision. Parrot Analytics, for example, revealed that there was 60 times more demand for WandaVision than the average television show during the first week of February. This put the series ahead of shows like Strange things Y Boys on that particular graph.
Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. New episodes air Fridays on Disney +.
